An imperative part of my practice is the creation of public experiential programming. I make workshops and events for folx to engage in knowledge making that is similar to the integration of a ceremony. I have worked with museums, sculpture parks, libraries, public parks, public schools and art organizations.

Xochiotia; at El Paseo (2021)
Xochiotia, nahuatl (Uto-Aztec language): to tinge something with the smell or color of roses, or to decorate something with flowers; to flower.
Xochiotia; at El Paseo is an outdoor sculpture project hosted by the El Paseo Community Garden in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago. The public is invited to envision the Flower Mountain in the community garden (a pre-conquest Mesoamerican afterworld) building a monument of adobe brick along with a series of programs with local partners, in the summer of 2021.
